The purpose of the report is to investigate two alternative energy scenarios inconjunction with the production of the 1993 Edition of the Baseline Projection. Recent history has shown a trend towards lower natural gas prices and increased energy efficiencies. While the baseline projection reflects these trends, the alternative scenarios are designed to explore the implications of a more extreme evolution of each of these trends.
