摘要

Within all 50 states, some form of code or standard for energy conservation in new building construction has been introduced. These codes or standards are of special importance to GRI because when fully implemented they will influence the heating and cooling requirements of single-family building types. The study provides estimates of the impacts of these standards on annual and peak energy usage for space heating and cooling and annual energy usage for water heating and non-HVAC end uses.
