Amending the soil with ammoniated rice hull (up to 50% by volume) and rice hull (up to 50% by volume) compared to the full paddy soil prominently increased plant height, circumference, nodes and leaf size. The height of 1st flower appearance in the rice hull mulching area was higher than the ammoniated rice hull and growth vigorousely. According to the first 4 monthes yield and fruit quality, the yield in the ammoniated rice hull area higher than the rice hull area and paddy soil area. The contents of soluble solids in the fruit of rice hull area and ammoniated rice hull area were increased statistically.
