The present invention relates to a composition for preventing, improving, and treating gastrointestinal diseases comprising a compound isolated from a culture of Bacillus amyloliquefaciens RWL-1 strain, isolated from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens species It is the first description of the enzyme inhibitory activity of a bioactive compound. Since the composition of the present invention has excellent urease inhibitory activity, it has the effect of inhibiting the urease activity of Helicobacter pylori and making Helicobacter pylori difficult to survive in the gastric mucosa. It is expected to be useful in the medical and food industry by using water as an important source of bioactive metabolites with high therapeutic value.
