The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition, a food composition, a quasi-drug composition, and a dental composition for preventing or treating oral diseases or bone diseases, wherein the compositions contain a Colocasia esculenta extract as an active component. Specifically, the Colocasia esculenta extract of the present invention is derived from a natural product to have low toxicity, and can significantly inhibit activity of Porphyromonas gingivalis, an oral disease-causing bacterium, and inhibit the formation or differentiation of osteoclasts, thereby being able to be usefully used for preventing or treating oral diseases or bone diseases.
