The present invention relates to a method for staining and quantifying exosomes by using a fluorescence polarization technique and, more specifically, to a method for staining exosomes by using a lipid membrane fluorescent dye and then quantifying exosomes by analyzing fluorescence polarization values, a kit for staining and quantifying exosomes by using the method, and a method for providing information for cancer diagnosis. The method for staining and quantifying exosomes by using a fluorescence polarization technique of the present invention allows all reactions to be performed in a single tube without washing, and enables exosomes to be rapidly and efficiently stained and quantified without a complicated process. In addition, a method for quantifying exosomes of the present invention successfully quantifies exosomes secreted from cancer cells and normal cells with high accuracy and reproducibility compared to commercial kits, and can effectively measure exosomes increased in the cancer cells, thereby rapidly and simply diagnosing cancer in early stages.
