The present invention relates to a transformer type book support device capable of transforming into a bookend and a book holder, which has a modular structure to achieve excellent mountability and ease of assembly. According to the present invention, the transformer type book support device comprises: a bookend including an upright rail support (110) for a bookend, a display plate support type insertion bar (120), and an identification display panel (130); and a book holder including an upright rail support (210) for a book holder, and a diagonal support type insertion bar (220).
