The present invention relates to an educational toy for enhancing cooperative and cognitive abilities by using animal models and colors. More specifically, the educational toy includes: an animal model comprising an animal model connection part and a variable resistor applying a resistance value depending on an animal; and a body comprising a body connection part into which the animal model is inserted, an MP3 module storing the cry of the corresponding animal, a speaker part outputting the cry of the animal as the animal model is inserted, a switch part for setting a color, an LED part outputting the corresponding color in accordance with the value of the animal model, a collective LED part collecting colors outputted from the LED part to output the collected colors, an LCD part expressing colors able to be set through the switch part, a control part controlling the switch part, the LED part and the LCD part, and a power supply part. Therefore, the educational toy can enhance cooperative ability for distinguishing different models of different animals with the same color / models of the same animal with different colors, enable the instruction of color combinations, and improve cooperative spirit with the activity of creating various colors with other people.
