Disclosed are a single photon detector capable of exactly detecting an avalanche signal, an avalanche photodiode used in the single photon detector, and a circuit board connected to the same. According to one aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, a sub-circuit board electrically connected to the avalanche photodiode, applying a gate signal to the avalanche photodiode, and having first and second substrate areas comprises: a plurality of connection units coupled to the avalanche photodiode; a line pattern with a predetermined form; a plurality of cathode ends inputting the gate signal to the sub-circuit board; and a plurality of anode ends outputting a plurality of capacitive response signals generated from the avalanche photodiode.
