The present invention relates to an iron sulfate solution derived from industrial by-products, that is, an iron sulfate solution for wastewater treatment, comprising: 10-30 wt% of sulfuric acid (H_2SO_4), 3-6 wt% of iron sulfate (FeSO_4), and the remainder water with respect to the entire weight of the solution. The present invention also relates to a wastewater treatment method using an iron sulfate solution derived from industrial by-products, comprising: a step a) of adding an iron sulfate solution derived from industrial by-products into wastewater and then, adjusting pH to 4-5; a step b) of adding to the wastewater one or more kinds of inorganic coagulant selected from a group composed of a ferrous chloride solution, a ferric chloride solution, a ferrous sulfate solution, or a ferric sulfate solution; a step c) of adding hydrogen peroxide (H_2O_2) as an oxidant into the wastewater and then, conducting oxidation reaction for 30-60 minutes; a step d) of adding an alkaline chemical into the wastewater and then, adjusting pH to 6-8; and a step e) of injecting an organic polymer coagulant into the wastewater in order to separate solids from liquids. Therefore, the wastewater treatment method using an iron sulfate solution derived from industrial by-products can remove water contamination and significantly improve economic feasibility of a process thereof at the same time.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
