An high voltage heater (HVH) drive method for an electric vehicle, comprising: receiving a heating start instruction and sending, on the basis of the heating start instruction, an HVH turn-on request to a whole vehicle controller (20); receiving, from the whole vehicle controller (20), an enabling permission instruction in response to the HVH turn-on request; trigging, on the basis of the enabling permission instruction, to close an HVH relay; and detecting a switch state of the HVH relay and sending to the whole vehicle controller (20) corresponding close state information when the HVH relay is in a close state. Therefore, the problem of the waste of energy due to that an HVH relay is not closed in response to an enabling permission signal, and the security performance of an HVH drive process is also improved. Also provided are a vehicle-mounted air conditioner controller and a whole vehicle controller.
