A block addition method and apparatus for building artificial intelligence application and a machine device. The method comprises: for a block configured in a graphical interface building region, receiving a newly added block selection instruction of a user, the newly added block selection instruction being directed to linked blocks (310); correspondingly generating a dictionary according to the blocks selected by the newly added block selection instruction, the dictionary comprising mathematical primitive identifiers and core parameters corresponding to the blocks (330); using mathematical representations of graph theory to combine the mathematical primitive identifier and the core parameter in the dictionary into a newly added mathematical primitive (350); and updating a graphical interface and a service end the newly added mathematical primitive (360). The method realizes a block addition technique for building artificial intelligence applications.
