MODULAR SYSTEM FOR THE DETECTION, IDENTIFICATION AND COMBATING OF UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEMS (UAS), OF UNMANNED GROUND VEHICLES (UGV) AND OF CHEMICAL, BIOLOGICAL, RADIOACTIVE AND NUCLEAR (CBRN) PARTICLES
A modular system for the detection, identification and combating within an area under protection of Unmanned Aerial Systems (UASs), Unmanned Ground Vehicles (UGVs) and potentially hazardous aerosols containing Chemical, Biological, Radioactive and Nuclear (CBRN) particles comprises in combination a) detection means of at least one 3-dimensional lidar scanning device that performs continuous scanning of the atmosphere within a selected range by emitting a plurality of beams and receiving a plurality of return signals, b) identification means of detected potentially threatening UASs/UGVs and aerosols comprising a package of visual and Imaging InfraRed long range cameras with corresponding databases that provide an identity of detected UASs/UGVs and at least one lidar device configured for analyzing the aerosols to identify therein potential content of hazardous CBRN particles, c) a lidar device adapted for tracking and profiling identified threats of UASs/UGVs and CBRN particles and d) combating means comprising at least one laser emitting device adapted for effecting neutralization of threats emanating therefrom.
