Embodiments of the present application provide a medical treatment item risk control method and device based on data analysis, a server, and a medium. The method comprises: determining a target medical treatment item meeting a preset condition from among multiple medical treatment items, and determining a patient examination rule corresponding to the target medical treatment item; if a purchase instruction of a target user for the target medical treatment item sent by a terminal is detected, obtaining first user information of the target user according to an instruction of the patient examination rule; after the target medical treatment item is initiated, obtaining second user information of the target user; determining, according to the first user information and the second user information, whether the target user has falsely created an item; and if it is determined that the target user has falsely created an item, adding the identifier of the target user into a tagged list. By adoption of the present application, the user having falsely created an item can be effectively identified for timely supervision, thereby reducing the loss of medical insurance funds.
