[Problem] To provide a skin for dim sum with which excellent cooking results are achieved without having to cover a frying pan with a lid while cooking the same therein, and to also provide dim sum, frozen dim sum, and a method for manufacturing a skin for dim sum. [Solution] A skin constituting hermetically packaged dim sum, said skin at least including grain powder and sugar, wherein the wt% of water in said skin at the stage when said packaged dim sum is opened and taken out for cooking or the like is 33% to 38.5% inclusive with respect to the total weight of said skin. In addition, said sugar is at least one of disaccharides, trisaccharides, and tetrasaccharides, and the amount thereof is 0.0% to 0.4% inclusive, in terms of wt%, with respect to the total input material weight when inputting materials before mixing.
