Disclosed is a remote controller (103) for an unmanned aerial vehicle, the remote controller being used for controlling an unmanned aerial vehicle (101) and a photography device (102) thereof in a wireless manner, and comprising a wireless communication apparatus (107), a controller (111) and a zoom operation component (112). The wireless communication apparatus (107) is used for being in communication connection with the unmanned aerial vehicle (101) to receive image data acquired by the photography device (102) and to send a flight control instruction and a photography control instruction to the unmanned aerial vehicle (101); the controller (111) is used for sending a framing instruction to the unmanned aerial vehicle (101) by means of the wireless communication apparatus (107) when a framing operation component (113) is operated; and the zoom operation component (112) is independent of the framing operation assembly (113), and is electrically connected to the controller (111) so as to send a zoom control signal to the unmanned aerial vehicle (101) by means of the wireless communication apparatus (107) when the zoom operation component (112) is subjected to a zoom operation.
