A connection device of a coin sorter and a coin sorter, said connection device comprising: an upper connection assembly (1), comprising a socket (11), the socket (11) being mountable to a lower end of an upper casing (3) of the coin sorter, and the socket (11) being connected to a circuit in the upper casing (3); and a lower connection assembly (2), comprising a plug (21), the plug (21) being movably mountable to an upper end of a lower casing (4) of the coin sorter, the plug (21) being connected to a circuit in the lower casing (4), and when the upper casing (3) is in a state of being mounted onto the lower casing (4), the plug (21) being movably mounted into the socket (11) in a plug-in manner. The socket (11) is mounted to the lower end of the upper casing (3), the plug (21) is mounted to the upper end of the lower casing (4), and the socket (11) and the plug (21) are respectively connected to the circuits in the upper casing (3) and the lower casing (4), the upper casing (3) and the lower casing (4) can be physically connected and electrically connected by means of the plug (21) and the socket (11), so that the upper casing (3) and the lower casing (4) of the coin sorter can be provided as mutually independent structures, and during maintenance, the upper casing (3) can be separated from the lower casing (4) as a whole; the present invention facilitates the maintenance of an internal structure of the coin sorter, making it easy to disassemble, and having high safety and reliability.
