PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel monoclonal antibody against RNA-dependent RNA polymerase of influenza virus not neutralizing influenza virus.SOLUTION: Provided is a monoclonal antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof that binds to the PB2 subunit of RNA-dependent RNA polymerase by antigen-antibody reaction but does not neutralize the influenza virus. The monoclonal antibody is not only usable to confirm the expression of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase but also useful as a tool for molecular biological study of influenza virus and for developing anti-influenza virus agents, since it does not inhibit the growth of influenza virus.
