PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a test piece for biomolecule detection which can be used in detecting a biomolecule at higher sensitivity and accuracy, and a test kit for biomolecule detection having fluorescent silica nanoparticles.SOLUTION: There is provided a test kit for biomolecule detection having a test piece for biomolecule detection and a labeling reagent for biomolecule detection made of fluorescent silica nanoparticles, in which the test piece has a test area for capturing biomolecules, a first capture substance having binding to biomolecules is introduced into the test area via a first connection substance, a second capture substance having binding to biomolecules is introduced into a surface of the fluorescent silica nanoparticle via a second connection substance, and the first connection substance and the second connection substance are made of substances that do not adsorb with each other in solution.
