摘要

To provide a thrust generation device capable of being efficiently rotated by torque due to Magnus power generated on cylindrical blades.SOLUTION: A thrust generation device includes: a supporting portion rotatable about a first rotation axis to a supporting housing; a plurality of cylindrical blades 2 respectively journaled about a second rotation axis O2 on a circumference about the first rotation axis to the supporting portion, revolvable about the first rotation axis, and rotatable about the parallel second rotation axis O2; and a straightening plate 5 supported by the supporting portion and disposed at a side opposite to a traveling direction with respect to the cylindrical blades 2. A first inclination angle α to an inner direction of the cylindrical blades 2 is formed so as to satisfy a following formula (1), and a second inclination angle β is formed so as to satisfy a following formula (2) on a vertical plane. 0°≤α≤15° (1), 0°≤β≤15° (2)SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
