PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To trimethylate the 27th lysine of H3 (H3K27me3) among histones constituting nucleosomes, which is a basic unit of chromatin, to be involved in suppression of gene expression and inactivation of X chromosome. .. The 27th lysine of H3 is methylated by a methylating enzyme called Ezh2. Provided is a monoclonal antibody that is an H3K27me3 specific antibody and functions even in an intracellular reduced state for detecting trimethylation of H3K27me3. SOLUTION: A monoclonal antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof containing a heavy chain variable region domain consisting of a specific amino acid sequence and a light chain variable region domain consisting of a specific amino acid sequence.
