A method of improving fresh edible corn by pollen sharing technique. The present invention relates to selective breeding techniques of new agricultural product, it uses a method of improving the quality of edible fresh corn by pollen sharing technique, which comprises the following steps: Step 1) A sweet and waxy corn with waxy genotype and double sweet recessive gene is selected as parent; Step 2) An identical genotype corn is used as another parent; Step 3) Cross-pollination between the aforementioned parents is carried out to obtain an ear of corn. The present invention selects waxy sweet corn with similar genotypes, uses the cross-pollination mode, to achieve a fresh edible maize in proportion of waxy sweet grains and waxy grains meeting expectations and achieve the perfect unity of sweet and waxy .
