According to the present invention, disclosed are an electronic game system for preventing excessive absorption of a player and a method thereof. That is, the present invention analyzes a game behavior pattern of the player playing in an electronic game device to determine whether a game proceeds, and provides information on the electronic game device according to a taste of the player. Therefore, it is possible to protect the player excessively absorbed in the electronic game device by distributing the interest of the player, to solve the anxiety and player inconvenience, and to remove the complexity, thereby increasing the convenience of use.
