The present invention relates to a food composition for reducing the expression or increasing the low density lipoprotein receptor (LDLR) of the PCSK9 gene including butane or isoeugenol. The composition of the present invention inhibits the expression of the PCSK9 gene increased by the statin compound and increases the low-density lipoprotein receptor, resulting in lowered blood cholesterol levels, resulting in obesity, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease. Or it can be used for the prevention or improvement of metabolic diseases such as hyperlipidemia.
