The present invention relates to a stick for the visually impaired having a GPS-based navigation function. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the stick comprises: a handle unit which comprises a length adjusting device for adjusting the length of a leg unit and a vibration transmitting device; a leg unit which has the length adjusted by the length adjusting device of the handle unit; and a sensing unit which transmits navigation information to a user based on GPS information. The sensing unit comprises: a GPS chip which receives GPS information; a memory chip which stores and updates map information; and a GPS module which matches the GPS information received from the GPS chip with the map information stored in the memory chip, and drives the vibration transmitting device in the handle unit to transmit the navigation information to the user. The present invention can provide the visually impaired with improved convenience of walking.
