Disclosed are a method for restoring an omitted subject element in Korean using paragraph-based core entity identification and a system for the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the system for restoring an omitted subject element in Korean using paragraph-based core entity identification comprises: a paragraph recognizing device for parsing and recognizing paragraphs in an input document; a sentence separating device for separating sentences from the recognized paragraphs; an entity recognizing device for recognizing entities of a knowledge base from the separated sentence units; an entity graph generating device for generating an entity-relation graph by searching, in the knowledge base, a relation between the recognized entities; a graph weight calculating device for calculating a weight between the entities on the graph using centrality on the entity-relation graph; a core entity selecting device for selecting a core entity of the paragraphs based on the calculated weight; and an omitted subject restoring device for restoring a subject for a sentence from which a subject element is omitted using the selected core entity. According to the present invention, it is possible to quickly restore an omitted element in a Korean sentence without using a natural language processing tool.
