The present invention relates to a method for producing a chlorosis-induced transgenic plant and a plant thereof, the method comprising a step of transforming plant cells with a recombinant vector comprising a gene encoding a plastid transcriptionally active chromosome 10 (pTAC10) protein whose carboxy-terminus is deleted, derived from Arabidopsis thaliana; and a step of redifferentiating a plant from the transformed plant cells.
