A dual handgrip measurement device and an associated method of utilizing the dual handgrip measurement device are provided. The dual handgrip measurement device includes first and second handgrips configured to be gripped by left and right hands of a user, respectively. The dual handgrip measurement device includes first and second force sensors associated with and configured to separately detect grip forces applied to the first and second handgrips, respectively. The dual handgrip measurement device is configured to detect at least one of a linear force along the longitudinal axis, such as a compressive force or a tensile force, or a rotational force between the first and second handgrips.
