A smart city roadside parking method and a related product, the method comprising the following steps: a smart city server collecting the position coordinates and the speed of a vehicle binding terminal (101); when determined that the speed is zero, the smart city server obtaining a first coordinate having a speed of zero, and searching for parking spaces within a set range of the first coordinate (102); the smart city server collecting monitoring information of a first camera corresponding to the first coordinate, and extracting from the monitoring information the license plate number of a vehicle and the coordinates of a parking space (103); and determining a parking space identifier corresponding to the vehicle according to the coordinates of the parking space, sending the parking space identifier to the vehicle binding terminal, and instructing the terminal to input the parking space identifier into a parking app (104). The method and the related product have the advantages of a good user experience.
