A course reminder method and electronic bookbag, wherein the method comprises: an electronic bookbag acquiring a course list, the course list comprising course information of a target course, the course information comprising a course name, a course start time, a course end time and a course location (101); the electronic bookbag obtaining a current location and determining a first time from the current location to the course location of the target course according to the course location of the target course and the current location (102); the electronic bookbag determining a second time according to the first time and the course start time of the target course and outputting a course reminder message at the second time (103). By using the described method, an electronic bookbag user can be reminded of course information in time according to the course location.
