Provided are a new center-of-gravity movement display apparatus and a method for displaying movement of the center of gravity capable of, in an exercise in which the center of gravity is moved by tilting the body in a sitting position or a standing position, efficiently achieving effects such as muscle strengthening or the like due to the exercise. The present invention provides a center-of-gravity movement display apparatus 10 that displays movement of the center of gravity when a subject A performs an exercise in which the center of gravity is moved by tilting his/her body in a sitting position or a standing position, the apparatus comprising: (i) a support surface 40 on which the subject A gets on in a sitting position or a standing position; (ii) a sensor 12 that detects a body load of the subject A acting on the support surface 40; (iii) a virtual center-of-gravity setting means 14 for setting, on the basis of the detection result of the sensor 12, a virtual center-of-gravity position 86 in which a movement distance is set to be less than that of a center-of-gravity position 84 of the body load exerted on the support surface 40 from the subject A when the subject A tilts his/her body and moves the center of gravity in a direction away from the initial position thereof; and (iv) a displaying means 42 for displaying the virtual center-of-gravity position 86 set by the virtual center-of-gravity setting means 14.
