This utility model relates to a process of making sweetened bamboo shoots using bamboo shoots from the giant bamboo (Dendrocalamus asper) comprising the steps of preparing the ingredients, such as: shredded bamboo shoots, water, condensed milk, brown sugar, peanut, salt, vanilla ; squeezing the shredded bamboo shoots with salt and wash it in clean water; adding the shredded bamboo shoots in the boiling water for fifteen (15) minutes; draining the boiled shredded bamboo shoots with the use of strainer; pouring the condensed milk into drained shredded bamboo shoots in a pan; mixing the shredded bamboo shoots and condensed milk thoroughly; adding oil , brown sugar, chopped peanut, vanilla, mix and continue cooking until it caramelized; removing the sweetened bamboo shoots from heat; cooling the sweetened bamboo shoots at room temperature; and forming the sweetened bamboo shoots into balls and wrapping it in water cellophane.
