The invention relates to an isolated nucleic acid sequence encoding a chimeric antigen receptor directed against B-cell Maturation Antigen (BCMA), to an expression vector comprising said sequence and to an isolated host cell comprising said vector, to methods for preparing the same, and also to a chimeric antigen receptor. Furthermore, provided are the application of the above in preparing medicaments for destroying cancer cells and the use thereof in methods of destroying cancer cells.
