To provide a spherical body processing condition evaluation method or the like which can evaluate a processing condition of a spherical body.SOLUTION: A spherical body processing condition evaluation method comprises: a speed vector measurement process for measuring a speed vector of a measurement point of a surface of a spherical body 2 when the spherical body 2 rotates while varying a rotation axis; a reference speed vector selection process for selecting a reference speed vector being a reference from among a plurality of measurement speed vectors of the spherical body 2 which is measured in the speed vector measurement process; a posture change characteristic value calculation process for calculating a posture change characteristic value indicating a posture change of a measurement point of the surface of the spherical body 2 on the basis of a plurality of the measurement speed vectors which are measured in the speed vector measurement process, and the reference speed vector which is selected in the reference speed vector selection process; and a processing condition evaluation process for evaluating a processing condition on the basis of the posture change characteristic value which is calculated in the posture change characteristic value calculation process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
