To provide a device, method and program for realizing stereo matching with high precision between a plurality of images.SOLUTION: A stereo matching device 1 is configured to perform stereo matching between a plurality of images captured from at least two view points. The stereo matching device comprises: a dissimilarity calculation unit 4 configured to calculate an index indicating dissimilarity between pixels in the plurality of images; a smoothening unit 5 configured to, based on the index and the images, smoothen the index; and a matching unit 6 configured to, according to the index smoothened by the smoothening unit 5, perform stereo matching between the plurality of images.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
