PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereo matching device that can improve the accuracy of stereo matching.SOLUTION: A stereo matching device includes: an image input part 2 that acquires a standard image and a reference image; a window cost calculation processing part 4 that calculates, for each of pixels included in the standard image, a window cost indicating non-similarity between a standard window and a reference window; an evaluation value calculation processing part 5 that calculates, for each of pixels included in the standard image, an evaluation value for each parallaxes with the pixels included in the reference image in order of pixels adjacent to a predetermined pixel included in the standard image; and a corresponding point determination part 6 that determines, for each of pixels included in the standard image, a corresponding point corresponding to pixels included in the standard image out of the pixels included in the reference image on the basis of the evaluation values. The evaluation value calculation processing part 5 calculates an evaluation value for each of parallaxes to be calculated in order from an evaluation value having the same parallax as an immediate-previous optimal parallax that corresponds to the minimum evaluation value out of the evaluation values of the parallaxes of the pixels to be calculated that are adjacent and immediately previous to the pixel to be calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
