To make engagement and disengagement easy with a moving body, and make it easy to transfer to a different guide rail, and easy to change its pitch.SOLUTION: A pallet 11 for conveyance has a linear motion block 12 which moves on a guide rail 23, a base 13 to which the linear motion block is attached, and a locking member 14 provided in the base. A moving mechanism 15 is provided for moving the locking member between a locking position where the locking member is locked to the moving body 32 and a disengagement position where the locking member is separated from the moving body 32. A pallet conveyance device includes: a pallet for conveyance; a guide rail that mounts the pallet for conveyance; a moving body 32 provided so as to be movable along the guide rail and capable of locking the locking member of the pallet for conveyance; a moving means 33 for moving the moving body; an operation actuator 67 capable of operating the moving mechanism 15 of the pallet for conveyance to bring the locking member into the disengagement position; and a longitudinal actuator 66 for moving the pallet for conveyance in a longitudinal direction of the guide rail when the locking member is located at the disengagement position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
