To provide a gasket capable of precisely and easily assembling a head part.SOLUTION: A gasket 4 made of synthetic resin is interposed on a mating face between an upper face of a cylinder head 1 and a lower face of a head cover 2. The gasket 4 comprises a loop part 4b having right and left longitudinal parts 4a, and a coupling part 4c continued to the right and left longitudinal parts 4a. A relay cylinder part 32 for an oil shower is formed at a coupling part 4c, and the relay cylinder part 32 is connected to a cylindrical oil introduction part 31 provided on a buffle plate 3. Also, a relief hole 42 is bored on the coupling part 4c, for avoiding interference with a head of a bolt 36 for fastening a cam cap. The coupling part 4c is supported at both end, so it is not inclined downward in a step of assembling a head part. Also, the coupling part 4c is fitted with the head of the bolt 36, so it is held in a flat posture, so as to further improve dimension precision.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
