To provide a motor drive controller capable of facilitating construction and maintenance of a motor drive system.SOLUTION: A motor drive controller together with a controller 2 constitute a motor drive system 1. The motor drive controller comprises a control circuit unit for controlling motor drive according to instruction information transmitted from the controller 2. The control circuit unit comprises: a first acquisition unit (communication processing unit) for acquiring setting reference information on allocation of identification information to the motor drive controller, the setting reference information being input from the outside of the motor drive controller; a setting unit (ID determination unit) for setting identification information on the motor drive controller itself on the basis of the magnitude of setting voltage input from the outside and the setting reference information; and a second acquisition unit (communication processing unit) for acquiring the instruction information on the basis of the identification information on the motor drive controller itself set by the setting unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
