To improve a dipping efficiency by increasing the charging amount of a liquid potting material in a first dipping process in production of a hollow fiber membrane module.SOLUTION: A production method for a hollow fiber membrane module comprises carrying out in order: a first dipping process of dipping in a low-viscosity potting material, the end of a hollow fiber membrane 101 located at the opening of a module case 102 inserting the membrane 101 to fill in between the ends of the membrane 101 with the material; and a second dipping process of dipping the opening of the case 102 and the end of the membrane 101 in a high-viscosity potting material to fill in between the bundle of the membrane 101 and the case 102 with the material. The end of the membrane 101 is protruded from the opening of the case 102 to a case outside when inserting the bundle of the membrane 101 in the case 102. Thereby, the end of the membrane 101 is in such a state as immersed in the low-viscosity potting material 2 when starting the first dipping process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
