To provide a technique capable of precisely defining walking data of a subject for one step, regardless of a state of a road surface, for acquiring a reference unit of a walking posture of a subject in an analysis time.SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor 21 capable of measuring acceleration in at least one-axis direction, is attached to a subject so that the one-axis direction matches a travel direction in a walking time of the subject, and in walking of the subject for prescribed number of steps, acceleration data in the one-axis direction is acquired (step S3) using the acceleration sensor 21, then an extreme value of the acceleration in the acceleration data in the one-axis direction is detected (step S5), and walking data for one step of the subject is defined based on the extreme value (step S7).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
