PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erroneous discrimination possibility evaluation apparatus, an erroneous discrimination possibility evaluation method and a program capable of accurately evaluating the possibility of an erroneous discrimination of an image classification.;SOLUTION: A target image acquisition unit 90 acquires a target image being an object for classification. A classification discrimination unit 92 determines any one of a plurality of given classifications as a first classification which is most likely to be a classification of the target image. A ratio specifying unit 96 specifies a ratio, to the entire size of the target image, of a size of a region in the target image in which a probability that a body in the first classification appears is lower than a first probability, and a probability that the body in a classification different from the first classification in the plurality of classifications appears is higher than a second probability. Based on the ratio specified by the ratio specifying unit 96, an erroneous discrimination evaluation unit 98 determines a value indicating a possibility that a discrimination result in which the classification that is the most likely to be the classification of the target image by the classification determining unit 92 is the first classification, is an erroneous discrimination.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
