According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided are a composition for predicting probability of preterm delivery of babies, a composition for predicting neurodevelopment of premature babies, a method for detecting Src homology 2 domain-containing protein tyrosine phosphatase 2 (SHP-2) mutations in an individual to provide information necessary for predicting the probability of premature birth of babies or the neurodevelopment of premature babies, and a biomarker associated therewith.
