The systems and methods described herein are automated on a Network-on-Chip (NoC) topology based on specific performance optimization metrics such as connectivity, bandwidth and latency requirements for system traffic flows, and system interconnect latency and interconnect costs. And a NoC solution to dynamically determine the location of various hosts. According to an embodiment of the present invention, it is possible to select a host to be moved and to determine a new location available to them at Noc for them, based on the system traffic characteristic, and whether the movement is to be performed or not, . The process is repeated for a new set of hosts until a particular optimization goal is met or until the iteration count is exceeded.
