Provided is an apparatus for determining a subhealth, capable of determining whether a subject is in a subhealth state by using an outlier of a normal distribution graph for health examination data. The apparatus includes: a collection unit for collecting the health examination data associated with a plurality of items for determining subhealth; a calculating unit for calculating an outlier range for each of the plurality of items based on a health range calculated using the normal distribution graph of data collected for each of the plurality of items; and a determining unit for determining whether the subject belongs to a subhealth group based on the outlier range for each of the plurality of items. The plurality of items include at least one of a body composition analysis index, a pulse wave analysis index, and a heart rate variability analysis index.
