A clip applier having a clip loading unit according to the present invention comprises: a handle housing and a tubular member installed in the handle housing and having a predetermined length and diameter. The present invention further comprises a jaw operation unit, a clip loading unit, and an operation unit. The jaw operation unit includes a jaw member and a slider. The jaw member is disposed in the tubular member and comprises a rod extended from the handle housing, and an elastic part provided at the end of the rod, extended from first and second jaws, which are opposed to each other to be movable between an opened position and a closed position and are provided with a clip support part on a corresponding surface thereof respectively, and providing an elastic force to the opening direction of the first and second jaws. The slider is installed to be slid on the rod for opening and closing the first and second jaws of the jaw member. The clip loading unit comprises: a guide main body part installed in the tubular member at the lower side of the jaw operation unit and provided with a clip guide part at an end thereof for guiding a clip toward the first and second jaws; a cartridge unit provided on the guide main body part for supplying a clip; a clip loading member having a clip loading part moving the clip supplied from the cartridge unit along the clip guide part to load the clip on the clip support part of the first and second jaws; and a cover member coupled to the guide main body part to guide the transport of the clip loading member and having a pressing part for elastically biasing the clip loading part toward the clip. When a lever installed on the handle housing moves backwards, the operation unit moves the slider forwards and moves the first and second jaws in the closing direction to ligate the clip. When the lever moves forward, the operation unit supplies the clip to the clip support part by moving the clip loading member forwards. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent malfunction of the clip loading and further increase the reliability of the supply of the clip.
