The present invention relates to a special effect chair, a system for controlling a special effect, and a method for controlling a special effect. According to one aspect of the present invention, the special effect chair interlocked with reproduction of multimedia contents to provide a thermal feedback to a user includes: a communication unit for receiving thermal feedback data; a seating part on which the user is seated; a heat output module including a thermoelectric element for generating heat by a thermoelectric operation; a heat dissipation module for dissipating waste heat generated from the special effect chair, the waste heat being different from the thermal feedback provided to the user; and a controller for controlling the heat output module and the heat dissipation module, wherein the heat output module includes a thermocouple group in which the thermoelectric operation is independently performed by the controller.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2018
