The present invention relates to a method that allows the synthesis of oxidised and reduced polymer/carbon nanocomposites, the polymer being an olefin, more particularly polyethylene, the nanocomposites being obtained via in-situ polymerisation, the oxidised and reduced carbon being uniformly distributed in the polymer matrix.
