Provided is a chassis vehicle (10), comprising a chassis (11), a servo steering device (15) arranged on the chassis (11), and an electric motor (17). The electric motor (17) is capable of being in transmission connection with a wheel and is used for driving the wheel to rotate; the servo steering device (15) is arranged on the chassis (11) and is capable of being connected with the wheel; the servo steering device (15) is capable of being selectively in a transmission state or a locked state according to the type of the wheel; when the wheel is a uni-directional wheel, the servo steering device (15) is in the transmission state, and controls the uni-directional wheel so same swings to realize steering; and when the wheel is an omnidirectional wheel, the servo steering device (15) is in the locked state, and controls the omnidirectional wheel so same does not swing randomly. The chassis vehicle (10) can be switched to a wheel control mode corresponding to the wheel type according to different wheel types so that the chassis vehicle (10) and the ground mobile robot can be used both outdoors and indoors.
