WING-TIP ARRANGEMENT HAVING VORTILONS ATTACHED TO A LOWER SURFACE, AN AIRCRAFT HAVING SUCH A WING-TIP ARRANGEMENT AND THE USE OF VORTILONS ON A WING-TIP ARRANGEMENT
A wing-tip arrangement (2) couplable with a wing (38) of an aircraft comprisesa connectionregion (4) for coupling or integration with the wing end region (10), at leastone tip, at leastone upper surface (14) and at least one lower surface (16), which extendbetween a leadingedge (6) and a trailing edge (8) of the wing-tip arrangement (2) from theconnection region (4)to the at least one tip, and at least one vortilon (18). The local dihedral ofthe wing-tiparrangement (2) changes between the at least one tip and the connection region(4), such thatat least a part of the wing-tip arrangement projects at an angle relative tothe wing, whencoupled with the wing end region (10). The at least one vortilon (18)comprises a vortilonbase (22) and a vortilon tip (24), wherein the vortilon base (22) is attachedto at least one ofthe at least one lower surface (16) of the wing-tip arrangement (2) andwherein the vortilon tip(24) faces in an upstream direction.
